BELUGA LENTILS 500G
Native to Canada, the beluga lentil, black, smooth and shiny, is nicknamed "vegetable caviar". Slight hazelnut flavour.
Detailed preparation advice
Rinse 1 part lentils, put in a pan of cold water, bring to the boil for 1 min, then drain (this step helps to ensure that the lentils are well digested). Continue cooking in 3 parts water, covered, for 20 min. You can add herbs or kombu seaweed to the cooking water. To be eaten hot as a side dish or cold in a salad. Lentils can be sprouted.
